Ah, the “About” section. I’m never sure how to do these, but kind of feel like I should. I think there is an internet law saying you must, even if no one ever reads it.
This blog is basically all random geek stuff. For example; Sci-fi, Video Games, Graphic Novels, Whedonverse, Cosplay or whatever else I happen to be geeking out over.

Some background: I’m in my late 30s, I’m eclectic, laid back, klutzy, socially awkward, easily amused, tend to ramble, and am often misunderstood. In September of 2007 I moved from Boston, Massachusetts and am now living in the mid-west (so boring here!). I have a teen daughter, a boyfriend and two pets; a dog named Ares (Akita), who came with me from Boston, and my cat Yuki (Calico), who was a stray that we found in February 2010. For reasons unknown to me I haven’t been able to find a steady job since I moved, but have some work doing social media.
Some of my interests: Drawing, Photography, Cooking, Baking, Walking, Reading, Learning about other cultures. My musical tastes vary, but I mostly listen to soundtracks and rock. I love watching movies, mostly sci-fi, comedy or action. Most TV shows I watch are sci-fi and BBC stuff. I like getting lost in a book, usually reading stuff like Dresden Files and Legend of Drizzt. And of course, like any good geek, I like to play video games; World of Warcraft, RockBand, MassEffect, etc.
